||| Poultry farming brings hope


Twenty five year old Fire Belachew from South Ari in southern Ethiopia stands with her family outside their newly-built home. Selling eggs has meant the difference between life and death for Fire and her family. Fire has been trained in poultry farming through Trocaire-funded support programmes in South Ari, programmes designed to lift the most vulnerable women out of poverty and on to a stable path to self advocacy and income generation.
